In the midst of economic gloom there are many reasons to celebrate business achievements with the annual PLC Awards for small and medium sized companies trading on the London Stock Exchange. Contenders for 2011 Company of the Year are Croda International, NCC Group, Oxford Instruments, and TelCityGroup; and for 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year are Charles Wilson (Booker Group), Tony Pidgley (Berkeley Group Holdings), Mark Lancaster (SDL), and Greg Fitzgerald (Galliford Fry).
