We thought we were “high performers” before we attended Strategic Leadership, but it soon became clear that we lacked some essential skills and clear strategic focus. We feel far better qualified to drive the business forward now. Not only that, we feel we are better people – more aware of others, of their needs, and how the business can demonstrate they are valued. You have helped create a much more focused organisation, but also one that has a more human face.

I would like to thank you for a hugely challenging and thought-provoking course. It was completely anchored in real-world business scenarios and I was 100% comfortable with it from the start. I now have a much clearer vision of how I can improve profitability and shareholder value, and I have already experienced much greater buy-in from colleagues and suppliers because I am approaching them in a more positive way than I was previously.

I don’t usually feel comfortable being challenged, and your course was no exception. But I learned more about business and about myself in the three days than I thought possible. I should have done this years ago, but better late than never. I am sending some of my senior management team the next you run the course – no reason why I should be the only one to suffer!

Dynamic Strategy was exhausting, but our entire senior team feels it was time and money well spent. We have returned to work with a strategic business blueprint that will see us making fundamental changes over the next twelve months. Before, we would not have had the skills or inclination for the radical action we have decided on but without it we would have continued to decline as a business. Best of all, we are all pulling together as never before. It has energised us to face the considerable challenges ahead.

Dynamic Strategy has given me new insights into how my business unit needs to evolve to face growing competitive pressures. I feel a new confidence in my skills and intuition when it comes to strategy definition. A world-class programme.

It blew away all my preconceived ideas about strategy, replacing them with tools and frameworks I had never encountered before. A revelation. Now we just have to implement the strategy we have defined (so I will be back for the Strategic Transformation programme).

I feel much more confident now that we can develop a winning strategy. Some cutting-edge and profoundly useful principles and tools to take away and, just as importantly, a fresh eye and mind on where the business is now and where it needs to go in the future.

Strategic Transformation was exhausting, but our entire senior team feels it was time and money well spent. We have returned to work with a strategy implementation blueprint that will see us making fundamental changes over the next twelve months. Before, we would not have had the skills or inclination to put into action the radical plan we have decided on but without it we would have continued to decline as a business. Best of all, we are all pulling together as never before. It has given us the energy and focus to face the considerable challenges ahead.

I left the Strategic Transformation programme with a new mindset about how to implement our strategic plan. The frameworks and tools were innovative and stimulating, as were the sections on applying the latest neuroscience thinking to managing teams of people. I feel really energised and can’t wait to start putting my learning into practice.

Not just tools, good as they were, but the best thing about Strategic Transformation was that it opened my eyes to a new way of thinking. I feel much more optimistic now about the future.

This really challenged and motivated me. I didn’t understand anything about the differences between issues and underlying interests before, but I certainly appreciate them now. I also realised that I only had one negotiating style, whereas you need to adapt depending on how the discussions are going. I am confident that I will be much more effective at negotiating from now on, finding solutions that meet the needs of everyone involved. I can see huge benefits in my personal life, as well, in terms of improving my relationships.

This course gave me some powerful techniques and skills in terms of planning and managing the negotiation process but it also enhanced my emotional intelligence. I have often struggled to “read” other people and I don’t trust my instincts often enough. This course will certainly help me to change that. It’s been very, very useful as I have some critical negotiations in the next month and I will approach them very differently to the way I have done in the past. I will let you know how I get on!

The negotiating demands of my role have been increasing recently, not least the need to evaluate high value complex services from several different geographies. I was delighted at the insights and skills that this course gave me. I was stretched throughout but came away feeling more confident and certainly better equipped to improve my department’s strategic and budget objectives.

By far the best training I have ever received in over 20 years of corporate HR management. It made me reassess my goals and my entire approach to my career and I have since applied for, and got, a major promotion which will see me move overseas with my family early in 2012. I would never have had the self confidence or clarity of direction to consider that before this course.

I was in a career rut and now I’m not. I resigned in July 2011 from a career that was unfulfilling and stressful and am now in a role I love – all because of your Professional Executive Power programme. I now feel as if I have no personal limitations that will hold me back. Thank-you, Workpraxis!
